Real Estate Recovery in Loomis, CA - New Construction At Sierra de Montserrat and Terracina Estates
It's been a while since we've seen new construction in the quaint Town of Loomis, but there are currently two luxury homes that are now under construction at Sierra de Montserrat and Terracina Estates. Here is a beautiful custom home being built at Sierra de Montserrat (located in a cul-de-sac with vineyard views):
Here is the Terracina Estates custom home that is currently under construction:
Lots and land sales have been quite steady in Loomis, CA as well as the neighboring community of Granite Bay, CA. Some lots have been purchased to hold for investment and some were bought with the intention of being the future site of the purchaser's dream home. Most land sales have been all cash, as lot loans are not only difficult to find, but they are even tougher to qualify for...just like construction loans. Do these two new construction starts signify builder confidence as well as a real estate recovery for Loomis luxury homes? What do you think?

These look like some incredible homes Leilani, good luck with the new construction.
Two homes is too small a sample size to tell, but it is encouraging that new construction is occurring. Good post Leilani.
Loomis is one of those places that has grown so wonderfully over the past decade or so. Recently I visited a friend I had sold a 5 acre parcel to about 15 years ago. At the time of sale, the property seemed in the middle of no-where. But today, it is surrounded by wonderful homes, and estates. I also agree that it is nice to see new construction taking place!
Hopefully this is a sign of things to come in Loomis. Perhaps this may be a little bit of a kickstart Leilani.
How exciting! It looks like it is going to be a beautiful home. I have positvie thoughts for our real estate market. It can only go up from here. : )
It may not be a tidal wave but it certainly points towards recovery
Hi Leilani, it's always nice to see new construction. Those are some really lovely looking homes.!
Leilani, what a beautiful mini-mansion being built! It does sound like real estate RECOVERY!
Thanks, Tom! :)
Leilani
Anita, I would agree that two homes are a small sample, generally speaking...but Loomis is such a small town that two new custom homes being built is a "bigger deal" compared to most towns. :)
Leilani
Myrl, I can just imagine what Loomis was like 15 years ago, just taking into consideration that all homes built prior to 1996 didn't exist. Wow! :)
Leilani
Yes, perhaps you're right, Malcolm! Looks like good things are coming for Loomis. :)
Leilani
Amy, these do look like beautiful homes...I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out at completion! :)
Leilani
You're right, Kathy...although it's nice to see a gradual rise in the market instead of a tidal wave like we've seen before. :)
Leilani
Cindy, I agree...with both of the things you mentioned! :)
Leilani
Joan, it is nice to see a recovery in the luxury home market for new construction in Loomis...it's about time! :)
Leilani
They look amazing, Leilani! It is nice to see new construction starting to pick up and that's a great area to invest!
It is nice to see new construction again, DeeDee...and Loomis is a great place to live! :)
Leilani
Leilani - It is always a good sign to see new construction taking place and from those photos, pretty impressive!
Hi Leilani-two beautiful homes! If you had to guess what price range would these be in?
Leilani--It is great to relay good news especially in the new construction market. I hope to see the final product when these homes are completed.
BTY Thanks for visiting my site even though I have been MIA most of the summer. LOL Mary
I'd love to see the floor plan on that one pictured. M
These homes are pretty impressive, Barbara-Jo...can't wait to see them both completed! :)
Leilani
Bruce, without knowing the "exact" square footage, both of these homes would still be in the mid $1M price range. That's being conservative. :)
Leilani
You're welcome, Mary! It's good to see you're still visiting and commenting, even if you haven't blogged lately. :)
Leilani
Mike, I'd love to see floorplans on both of these homes! :)
