Hi Leilani,

Was that crazy or what?  We had it here as well.  I'm afraid to see what it did to my husband's poor little vegetables he put in his garden on Monday!

DeeDee, it sure was crazy!!! I was in Roseville this afternoon and saw kids throwing "hail-balls" at each other! The rooftops were even white with hail. :)

Leilani, we had a terrible storm with hail last Thursday. Our patio umbrella was ripped so bad ... I need to shop for a new one.

Ohhhh, sorry to hear about your patio umbrella, Rebecca...whodathunk that you shouldn't leave your patio umbrella out in late May, for fear of getting pelted with hail? :)

On the opposite end of the spectrum, it was high 90s here in middle GA.

Leilani, that picture looks very familiar from our weather all last week!  Thunderstorms and hail galore!  It seems like it didn't slow you down too much Leilani as you are passing all those cars to your right!  ^_~

Crazy weather in deed. We had to do a bunch of exterior repairs yesterday in the sunshine, rain, hail, wind, sunshine, rain some more.... than driving up the hill into a dark rain pocket. It's June for heaven's sake.

Leilani,

This weather is remarkable for June. I was barbecuing recently and the temp was 47 degrees and I could see my breath.LOL

Wow,

Steve

Now that looks like one of those pull over to the side of the road and let it pass storms.

Posted by Patricia Kennedy (Evers & Company Realtors) 12 months ago

Lucky you, Anita, to be enjoying "typical" June weather in Georgia! :)

Bruce, according to the weather forecast, the rain and thunderstorms are something we have to look forward to tomorrow, Sunday and Monday. Also, it was Bob driving...I never would have snapped a photo while driving in this weather! :)

I don't envy you, Tom...doing repairs outside in June here in "sunny" California! :)

Steve, I'm glad to see that you're still barbecuing even though it's cold outside...that doesn't stop Bob either, thankfully! :)

Patricia, the storm really wasn't bad enough to pull over...especially since we weren't riding the motorcycle! :)

Bob and Leilani - Wasn't that the most outrageous weather we had yesterday!  There was one squall that came over my home.  I heard this boom of lightening accompanied immediately by a lightening bolt that was of biblical proportions.  The sky opened up and poured nickle size hail on the ground, and totally drenched the earth with water.  Then in a very few minutes, it was all gone!  It felt like Kansas, rather than California!

Posted by Myrl Jeffcoat (Real Living Great West Real Estate) 12 months ago

I couldn't believe when I looked out the window it was raining today!!!!  :(

Posted by Chris Alston (Keller Williams Realty, Cupertino California) 12 months ago

It sure was, Myrl! Gosh, it's no wonder to have doubts that "we're not in Kansas anymore" based on the weather lately! :)

I hear you, Chris...and I think all of us in California agree! :)
