QR Code Generator - QR Stuff (QRStuff.com)

QR Code Generator - QR Stuff (QRStuff.com)

If you're looking for a QR Code Generator that has more options than the average website, check out QRStuff.com (btw, I do not receive any benefit for referring anyone to this website, nor do I have any interest in the company). Here are a few things they offer to make your QR Code creation just a little easier:

  • Text
  • Website URL
  • Telephone Number
  • SMS Message
  • Emaill Address
  • Email Message
  • Contact Details (VCARD)
  • Google Maps Location
  • Social Media
    • Twitter Profile
    • Facebook Profile
    • Facebook Like
    • MySpace Profile
    • LinkedIn Profile
    • LinkedIn Share
    • FourSquare Venue

One more pretty cool feature is the fact that they offer QR Codes in different colors. Check out some of the ones I've made:

I don't think I'm ready for these code thingamejigs yet.  But they look perdy.

Like Jane, I haven't tried this technology yet, but thanks for the tip!

Posted by Richard Weisser, Richard Weisser Retired Real Estate Professional (Richard Weisser Realty) about 8 years ago

Thanks for checking out my QR Code Generator blog post, Jane! The colors sure make 'em "perdier" than the typical black and white QR codes...and they still work! :)

You're welcome, Richard...and there's a good chance that the technology will be improved when the time comes that you are ready for it! :)

I love QR codes and have recently been adding code for virtual tours of my listings. Awesome stuff. Am going to check this site out now!

Posted by Lori Cain, Midtown Tulsa Real Estate Top Producer (eXp Realty) about 8 years ago

Lori, you can also add QR codes to your property flyers...it gives buyers a quick way to visit your single-property website! :)

I think these are such fun, but I wonder how many people are really using them (consumers, I mean). Is there anywhere to get stats on how many people in a particular area are using smart phones?

Posted by Leslie Prest, Owner, Assoc. Broker, Prest Realty, Payson, (Leslie Prest, Prest Realty, Sales and Rentals in Payson, AZ) about 8 years ago

Great question, Leslie! I also wonder if the mobile phone carriers share their smartphone statistics somewhere...hmmm...maybe it's time for a Google search! :)

Interesting. I wonder if I want one?

Posted by Maria Morton, Kansas City Real Estate 816-560-3758 (Chartwell Kansas City Realty) almost 8 years ago

Maria, if you have listings, you could put a QR code on your flyers or add it to your custom-made sign rider to lead buyers to your single-property website. :)

Thank you for the link. I'm adding QR codes to my business cards and adding them to my signs.

Posted by Jen Bowman, Realtor - Anna Maria Island & Bradenton FL (Keller Williams on the Water) almost 8 years ago

Hope they work out well for you in those applications, Jen! :)

I think what makes the QR codes work is they are new and in code. I am learning curiosity and a smart phone creates hits and interest.

Posted by Emily Medvec Qualifying Broker, Realtor | Serving Santa Fe & Northern NM (Hello Realty Partners) almost 8 years ago

I agree, Emily...for those that have a smartphone, I think it would be hard to resist NOT scanning your first QR code just to see how it functions! :)

OK OK I'm going there now.  It's time to jump on this bandwagon.  Thanks for checking them out and recommending them.

Posted by Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089, Maui Real Estate sales and lifestyle info (Hawai'i Life Real Estate Brokers) almost 8 years ago

You're welcome, Georgina! I did check out about 4-5 other QR code sites, but this was my favorite because it offered the most customization with both the QR actions and the colors. :)

I us QRstuff as well and started putting them on our yard signs with a link to our web site and land it on the listing so people can get all the info on the house on there smart phone. Our signs are metal so I print them on Office Depot magnetic paper and then stick it on the sign! Has worked well so far>

Thanks for the post

Nancy & Mike, that's a perfect way to use the QR codes, since you have metal signs! Thanks for sharing your terrific idea! :)
