20% OFF Real Estate Signs (Yard Signs, Open House, Sign Riders)

20% OFF Real Estate Signs (Yard Signs, Open House, Sign Riders)

As an independent real estate broker, we have to design and order custom real estate signs at a reasonable price (without a 100+ minimum quantity order) and I just placed an order with BuildASign.com and got 20% OFF! I don't know how long this Promo Code will last, but here it is: MEGAEFXCDK

These are the yard signs and sign riders I ordered (screenprint on aluminum signs):

I tried to support local businesses and previously contacted four sign companies in Roseville (prices were not competitive) and a Midtown Sacramento sign & printing company, who unfortunately (after a week of revisions) still could not provide me with an acceptable proof. Listening to the customer, centering text and appropriate font size selection are just a few of their weak points!

I think your design is great Leilani.  Did you consider putting your pictures up along with the Souza Realty?  I am also interested in agents pros/cons on the matter.  I love to hear opinions on why people made their choices.

I really like your idea of the rider insert to let people know that the transaction is not  bank owned or short sale!

ps- I like your black and gold colors as they are our own Purdue Boilermakers!

Why, thank you, Bruce! My reasons for not putting a picture on the yard sign are (in no particular order):

  1. Space is valuable on the yard sign and I wanted the company name and phone number to stand out.
  2. We don't have a photo of us wearing black and gold and my red suit doesn't match the sign.
  3. Cost to produce full-color signs is significantly more than 2-color signs.

The pro to having your picture on the sign is face recognition. In my case, I seem to be quite recognizable (must be my hair) so I usually don't have to meet someone more than once for them to remember me. The only con I can think of is encountering a prankster who decides to draw mustaches on agents' faces with a Sharpie!

Yeah, that rider was a last-minute bright idea I had right before placing my order...I thought that might attract potential buyers who want to buy a home without dealing with banks! :)

P.S. I also like the black and gold (reminds me of my Alain Pinel Realtors days!) although now I have to change all of my websites, headers and social media pages.

Thanks for your thoughts on this Leilani!  Sharon and I need to have a recent picture taken together, but for now we use separate pictures for marketing.  Sharon handles all the listings and a waist up picture is on her signs.  I think they are very recognizable, but the trade off is space given up as you said.  She always has a rider sign with her cell phone number.

As I said your signs look GREAT and I may have to send you a Purdue University T-shirt to show you what black and gold looks like!!!    ^_~

You're welcome, Bruce! I do like how you used your photo in your AR signature...what a great idea! I'm going to re-do our signature with our new colors and I think I'll insert a B&W photo of us in it.

GO PURDUE!!! :D
