Poll - Rank These 3 Photos From Best To Worst (Battle of the Cameras)

I took the same picture with these 3 cameras (photo was taken inside at night, no zoom, no flash):

  1. Casio Exilim EX-S880 Digital Camera
  2. Samsung HMX-U10 HD Camcorder
  3. Apple iPhone 3G Camera

I will identify which camera took which photo later and let you know the winner of the "Battle of the Cameras" in a new blog post.

Here are the photos in random order...please rank them from best (#1) to worst (#3) and leave me a comment!

Okay, I find C and A to be very close, but in that order. B is off color.  I could correct that in some editing software, but it would be nice not to have to.

Thanks for your vote, Dan! I agree, B is certainly off color and I wouldn't want to have to correct it either. :)

Leilani, I would go with C as well. Just appears to be clearer.

Leilani - Isn't it amazing what difference the equipment makes?  (I'm betting on the iPhone being the best)  Here is my vote.  C, A, B.  To me, C is the clearest and truest to color, A is somewhat washed out and B is just too yellow.  Can't wait to read the outcome!

I have to say that C seems to me to have the most detail. I am waiting to hear which camera did which photo!

Let it be "C"                                             ...

I'll go with A, C, B.  That second photo looks as if there was a flash failure.

very good idea to compare

Merry Christmas from your friend in Charlottesville!

Leilani  I give C my vote, but I would be able to edit any of them

Posted by Karen Kruschka - Prince William, Fairfax ,Stafford County VA Real Estate Service (RE/MAX Olympic Realty) about 2 years ago

Leilani - I tend to like "C" best for detail, and then "A" and lastly "B".

Posted by Myrl Jeffcoat (Real Living Great West Real Estate) about 2 years ago

I liked a then b then c....could not even tell you why, though!

Posted by Cheryl Ritchie, Southern Maryland Real Estate (RE/MAX 100) about 2 years ago

Photo C looks like it might have the most accurate color. A seems a little washed out, and B needs a lot of work.

Hi Bob and Leilani,

An interesting post. I wrote  practically an essay and deleted it. I think I 'll just park here and see what others say,:-)

I with everyone else C is #1.

Posted by Diane Williams (RE/MAX Realty Pros~Logan Martin Lake, St. Clair, AL) about 2 years ago

I would rank them A, C then B.  I just noticed the shadow less on A although C it and C are really close!

Jane, it was close for me between C and A, but I picked C, A, B. :)

I like the last picture the best, but that doesn't mean it's the best picture. How accurately does the picture duplicate the original?

Happy New Year!
