Google Real Time Search Results (via Twitter) Really Work...Just Ask Google Alerts!
With so much talk about Google's new "Real Time Search" lately, I just noticed that my tweets are coming back to me in the form of Google Alerts! In plain terms, here's how it works:
- I set up "leilani souza" as one of my Google Alerts.
- I tweet something on my @LeilaniSouza (personal) Twitter account.
- Approximately one hour later, I receive a Google Alert containing my tweet...how cool is that!
Here's the Google Web Alert I received:
So...just remember to twink before you tweet because it will appear when someone Googles you!

It is amazing how one needs to drive Google for business. I love it
I like the twink concept. That's amazing when you twink about it.
Very cool indeed!
Leilani, You've given me another thing to follow through on making work for me! I am going to learn to twink before I tweet!
It is great on most levels but downright scary on others.
Leilani, I use the alerts and get many each day. It is good to know about twitter effect on the spiders.
Harry, at least Google makes it easy to keep track of yourself! :)
Cheryl, I was twinking the same thing! :)
I twink so too, Irene! :)
Glad I could help, Susan...and yes, it's always good to twink before you tweet! :)
Very true, Andrew...you do have to be careful what you are searching for nowadays because you never know what might pop up in the search results! :)
I do too, Frank...I like staying on top of new information that Google finds interesting for me! :)

Thanks Bob...Seems like Google is destined to be in just about every part of our life.
I agree, John...Google is a household word that is here to stay. :)
