Urbanspoon - My Favorite Restaurant Review Site
I've been writing restaurant reviews online for a little over a year now and my favorite site is Urbanspoon.com, which I happened to discover when I was browsing through iPhone applications!
As an iPhone user, Urbanspoon.com tops my list due to their user-friendly iPhone app and their reciprocity with other restaurant review blogs like LeilaniSouza.com (yup, my shameless plug!) Sure, I also write at InsiderPages.com (a review site for all businesses, not only restaurants) and I've been a "Yelp Elite" member for 2008 and 2009...but I haven't been active on Yelp ever since I have had a review pulled from a Yelp advertiser's page and after reading this article by East Bay Express:

That is the second bad thing I have heard about Yelp. They also contacted me about my profile but I didn't let them get past two words. I think it is great that you are doing the food and wine blog.
Jane, I've spoken with a couple of local restaurant owners here and they have had the exact same experience as described in the article! Thank you for your kind words about my food and wine blog...and I find it quite interesting that this blog appears higher in the search engines than my AR blog! :)

I have Urban Spoon as an app on the customizable website portal that I use. It's a great site.
Kate, I use the Urbanspoon app all the time when we're in an unfamiliar place and hungry! I also love the fact that it's easy to "vote" on restaurants and upload pics directly from my iPhone! :)
