Catta Verdera Country Club is a gated golf course community in the city of Lincoln, located in Placer county, California. There are actually three different gated areas all within the Catta Verdera Country Club:

The Catta Verdera Country Club has 24-hour roaming security patrol and the homeowner's association fees include maintenance of the common areas and front lawns (except in the custom homes & lots). Custom lots start in the low $200,000's, tract homes start in the $600,000's and custom homes start in the $1,000,000's.

2006 All America City - Lincoln, California (Placer County, CA)

Lincoln is located in southwest Placer County, California. The City of Lincoln was established on August 18, 1890 and the population as of July 2008 was approximately 43,602. Gladding, McBean & Co. (a manufacturer of clay pottery, roof tiles, sewer pipe and other clay products) is a famous landmark in Lincoln, as well as Thunder Valley Resort, the first casino in the Sacramento area. In 2006, the National Civic League named Lincoln an All-America City and not only was Lincoln the only city in California named that year, but only 10 U.S. cities receive the prestigious All-America City award annually.

Lincoln has several large subdivisions including a 55+ adult community (Sun City Lincoln Hills), a golf course community (Catta Verdera Country Club) and a new master-planned community (Lincoln Crossing), as well as a large agricultural land area dotted with farms, ranches and equestrian properties. The South Shore of Camp Far West Lake extends into Lincoln and there are a few country homes that enjoy a view of the lake. Home values in Lincoln have been hit quite hard in the past few years with average property values being half of what they were at the top of the market, similar to other cities and towns in the Greater Sacramento Area.

Lincoln not only has convenient access to Highway 65 and Interstate 80, but within the last five years they have welcomed many big box stores (like Home Depot and Lowes), restaurants (Applebee's, Mimi's Cafe and all the fast food chains) and even a Holiday Inn Express. Any stores or restaurants that Lincoln doesn't have, you can probably find it within a short driving distance to the nearby cities of Rocklin and Roseville, home of the popular Westfield Galleria Shopping Mall.
