UFC 129: Two Championship Fights - GSP vs. Shields (Welterweight), Aldo vs. Hominick (Featherweight)

Two championship titles are on the line tomorrow night: Canada's Georges St-Pierre "GSP" (21 - 2 - 0) in the Welterweight Division and Brazil's Jose Aldo (18 - 1 - 0) in the Featherweight Division. My prediction is that both champions will retain their belts defeating opponents Jake Shields and Mark Hominick. :)

GSP is a strategic fighter who is almost technically perfect in his striking and has amazing cardio and a tough ground game. Aldo? The best way to describe him is he's an unbeatable, hardcore fighter who consistently finishes his opponents...either literally or technically speaking.

A close match doesn't seem to be in the cards for either one of these two championship fights...but the Randy Couture vs. Lyoto Machida fight is a different story! :)

We'll see what happens tomorrow night, Saturday, April 30, 2011 during UFC 129 on Pay-Per-View starting at 6pm Pacific Time.

UFC 128 - Shogun vs. Jones - Faber vs. Wineland (Hooters of Sacramento, CA and Hooters of Rancho Cordova, CA)

Support Sacramento's own Urijah "The California Kid" Faber in his UFC debut on Saturday, March 18, 2011 by watching UFC 128 at one of two Hooters locations - Sacramento, CA and Rancho Cordova, CA. Winning this bantamweight fight will give Urijah Faber the chance to have his own team on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) as well as the title shot against current UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz.

The main event will be the first time Mauricio "Shogun" Rua defends his light heavyweight championship title against Jon "Bones" Jones. Will Shogun end the fight with a knockout punch or his dangerous ground and pound, or will Jones win by submission or his vicious elbow blows? You'll have to join the Hooters crowd in Sacramento or Rancho Cordova or watch UFC 128 on Pay-Per-View to see. Personally, I'm just hoping the decision will not go to the judges...and I'll be rooting for SHOGUN! :)
