I found this easy-to-understand video looking back at the history of the U.S. economy and speculation about its future. Since economics is definitely not one of my strong points, I appreciate this video's simplicity!
It is interesting to look at how our spending habits have changed throughout the years...both government spending and personal spending. Years ago, it seems that we highly valued being debt-free. However, in the recent years, the trend has been to obtain as much debt as we possibly can.
Did you know that the only time in U.S. history that we had $0 Federal Debt was back in the year 1835?
